Base Salary
$81k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Modify template HMI programs to align with project-specific PLC programs.
- Convert legacy HMI programs to current HMI programming software.
- Configure industrial computers with software and HMI projects.
- Verify HMI programs and document test results.
- Provide HMI engineering and technical support to production, helpdesk, field service, and aftermarket teams.
- Configure lab PLC networks for HMI program testing and verification.
- Provide remote installation support and troubleshoot field-related HMI issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology.
- Working knowledge of HMI software platforms including Rockwell FactoryTalk, RSView, Vijeo, Crimson, Kepware, Applicom, and Wonderware.
- Basic understanding of technical problem solving, analytical thinking, decision making, product testing, troubleshooting, and HMI engineering.
- Working knowledge of HMI tools and techniques for graphics, reusable libraries, schematics, wireframes, and two- and three-dimensional views.
- Preferred experience with graphic design tools such as Photoshop, GIMP, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Preferred programming experience with VBA scripting, JavaScript, HTML, C++, FBD, and SQL.
- Ability to work with service technicians, engineers, end users, and other disciplines.
