Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and improve scalable full-stack web applications, reliable backends, data pipelines, responsive front ends, and supporting tools and services.
- Analyze technical problems, identify dependencies, resolve issues, and drive implementation.
- Write and review technical design documents, tests, and code using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Provide subject-matter expertise aligned with Google technologies, engineering principles, practices, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and develop technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- At least 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with front-end languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with backend languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
- Preferred: 4 years of experience designing and optimizing databases.
- Preferred: 4 years of experience with cloud, containerized, or microservice architectures.
- Preferred: experience managing ambiguous requirements and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: strong systems fundamentals and experience with agentic AI frameworks and LLM tooling, including LLMs, agentic harnesses, vector embeddings, and RAG.
