Responsibilities
- Review code contributions, proposals, and RFCs from colleagues.
- Propose and implement new features, capabilities, algorithms, or products.
- Mentor others and support the interviewing pipeline.
- Share technical knowledge through tech talks and collaborative sessions.
- Maintain the existing software stack and improve operational reliability.
- Develop tests and benchmarks to ensure robustness.
- Present work at weekly demo sessions for feedback and collaboration.
Requirements
- Can write legible, maintainable, and performant code.
- Communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Enjoy collaborating with others, including code reviews and pair programming.
- Comfortable working asynchronously with tools like PRs and RFCs.
- Familiar with backend interface tools like REST APIs and gRPC.
- Strive to improve yourself and the culture you work in.
- Feel ethical considerations are an inherent part of engineering.
