Base Salary
$90k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using C++ and Python.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Interface with boards, sensors, cameras, GPS receivers, radios, and microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy high-quality software products.
- Develop new codebases emphasizing object orientation, modularity, and maintainability.
- Stay current with software engineering trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance at the Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI level.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or significant professional experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in C++ and proficiency in Python.
- Strong understanding of hardware, embedded systems, and sensors.
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and microservice architecture.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
- Experience or desire to lead technical teams.
