Responsibilities
- Develop and modernize software for FTSE Russell’s cloud-native, low-latency platform.
- Help scale globally distributed technology and data platforms supporting critical investment products.
- Address performance, data quality, reliability, automation, and testing challenges.
- Use AI-assisted development tooling to improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate across global teams on software engineering, cloud platforms, site reliability, AI and machine learning, or distributed systems.
Requirements
- Experience developing software using Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, testing, and modern engineering practices.
- Practical use of AI-assisted development tooling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, interest in AI and emerging technologies, and effective collaboration across global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
