Base Salary
$200k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
- Work with multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, microservice software design, DevSecOps, and continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.
- Support satellite ground system technologies including command and telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software with Java and C++.
- Experience with Red Hat 8 Linux OS and Windows 2019 OS, or similar experience.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI clearance is required before starting; an active transferable Top Secret clearance that can be crossed over to TS/SCI is also acceptable.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Python, ActiveMQ, and WineHQ.
