Responsibilities
- Own the SAP SD Returns Management module design, configuration approach, estimates, sequencing, and deliverables.
- Configure Advanced Returns Management in SAP S/4HANA, including returns order types, inspection codes, follow-up activity determination, and refund determination.
- Set up returns delivery, goods receipt, stock types, blocked stock, quality inspection, and scrap dispositions with warehouse and inventory teams.
- Configure credit memo and refund determination so financial reversals align with physical disposition decisions.
- Own returns reason-code design and reporting for return analysis.
- Coordinate dependencies with Inventory Management, EWM, Billing, Procurement, SD, MM, and FI.
- Deliver the module workstream through milestones, quality gates, integration testing, defect management, and cutover.
- Diagnose configuration, data, and integration issues and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Build and maintain AI prompts, accelerators, validation standards, and analysis routines for returns delivery.
- Use SAP Joule for Consultants, curate grounding content, and specify Joule agent use cases for the module.
- Lead and mentor a small delivery team, allocate work, and review deliverables before release.
- Lead requirements and design workshops, manage business stakeholders, and defend scope against delivery risks.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution, with current hands-on configuration experience.
- Deep SAP S/4HANA Advanced Returns Management expertise, including returns order, delivery, goods receipt, credit memo flow, and copy control.
- Strong knowledge of stock types, movement types, returned-goods disposition, refund determination, and cross-functional diagnosis across SD, MM, and FI.
- Demonstrated end-to-end SAP module workstream ownership covering estimation, milestones, defect management, integration testing, and cutover.
- Demonstrated leadership of a small delivery team and ownership of business stakeholder relationships, including contested scope discussions.
- Demonstrated AI-enabled delivery through reusable prompts, accelerators, automation, or playbooks adopted by others, with validation of generated output.
- Working proficiency with SAP Joule for Consultants, either at appointment or within 90 days of joining.
- Workstream ownership across at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations or large rollouts.
- Preferred experience with return-to-supplier scenarios in MM, QM integration, EWM reverse logistics, and direct-to-consumer or omnichannel returns.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
