Responsibilities
- Own and scale Incard’s automated QA strategy across backend, frontend, mobile, and integrations.
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for APIs, backend services, web applications, mobile applications, and external providers.
- Define test strategies and coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Integrate automated tests into release pipelines, enforce quality gates, and reduce regressions and production incidents.
- Monitor and improve flaky-test reliability, test execution speed, and signal quality.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, mobile, and product teams to improve testability and anticipate edge cases.
- Contribute a quality perspective to post-incident analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software engineering in test.
- Strong experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Solid understanding of API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing distributed systems and asynchronous workflows.
- Familiarity with automated release processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software quality principles and risk-based testing.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineering teams.
- Preferred: experience testing fintech, payments, or other regulated systems; mobile automation on iOS or Android; performance or load testing; and event-driven or workflow-based systems.
