Responsibilities
- Design and build automated quality engineering infrastructure and agentic AI tooling for failure triage, test-code generation, and developer toil reduction.
- Develop reliability metrics, telemetry, CI/CD integrations, and deterministic fault-injection infrastructure for advanced testing.
- Partner with engineering teams on risk analysis, integration testing, performance testing, and complex defect resolution.
- Build robust backend services, APIs, and microservices using established architecture standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on test automation, backend design, testing strategies, and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, product management, developer platform teams, and client-facing teams to advance quality standards.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on backend software development experience using modern languages such as Go or Python.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable backend platforms and cloud-native architectures.
- Deep expertise with CI/CD integration, containerisation, and orchestration, including tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and BigQuery.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and agentic workflows for code generation, log analysis, and automated triage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
