Responsibilities

Own the build-versus-buy ROI decision framework for AI initiatives and track recommendations against actual outcomes.
Evaluate native AI capabilities and custom-build options across business platforms including Salesforce, Slack, PowerBI, Notion, Hibob, and Saleshood.
Design and build production-grade AI agents, webhook integrations, MCP connections, and agentic workflows.
Apply least-privilege, observable-output, efficiency, documentation, and maintainability principles to AI solutions.
Manage technical handover for operational builds and maintain the AI capability matrix with documented model and tool approvals.
Benchmark new capabilities against Smadex use cases, monitor model and tool end-of-life, and recommend transitions.
Lead horizon scanning, proof-of-concept development, hackathons, rapid prototyping sprints, and cross-functional innovation initiatives.

4–7 years of experience in AI engineering, solutions architecture, technical product, or a similar hands-on builder role.
Production experience shipping AI agents, automations, API integrations, or agentic workflows to real environments.
Security and efficiency mindset focused on least privilege, observable outputs, and maintainability.
Strong analytical skills for constructing ROI frameworks, quantifying trade-offs, and communicating recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with business SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Slack, and Notion and how AI supports commercial and operational workflows.
A portfolio of shipped AI-powered work is valued more than certifications.
Experience with MCP architecture, webhook design, agentic workflow patterns, adtech, DSPs, programmatic advertising, or AWS Bedrock is a bonus.

Full-time position based in Barcelona with work from home two days per week and flexible hours.
