Responsibilities
- Write and maintain efficient code for software components while following development best practices.
- Support the design and development of applications aligned with business objectives.
- Implement unit and integration testing frameworks for software validation.
- Document software development, design, and deployment procedures.
- Analyze integration needs and plan system architecture against technical specifications.
- Review technical practices and literature to inform project solutions.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot software issues and resolve performance and user-experience problems.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, execution plans, and database health.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, secrets management, and code-quality practices.
- Maintain punctual attendance and work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with hands-on experience using Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Experience with performance and scalability design, query optimization, database schema design, and execution-plan analysis.
- Experience with Java enterprise architecture, Spring, WAR-based deployments, REST API design, Angular, TypeScript, Jest, ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
- Experience with multi-module Maven projects, Tomcat, Apache, Spring Security, OAuth2, SSO, WebSocket/STOMP, SFTP, and scheduled jobs.
- Knowledge of security architecture, Vault secrets management, SonarQube, design patterns, and software integration patterns.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering for code generation.
- Preferred experience with spec-driven architecture, custom AI agents, RAG pipelines, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and Snyk.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, collaborate with Quality Assurance, and support customer-focused outcomes.
