Responsibilities

  • Support GitOps-based application delivery with Argo CD, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests across development, staging, and production clusters.
  • Maintain GitLab CI pipelines, container images, and upstream open-source image mirrors in Docker Hub and GCP Artifact Registry, including version upgrades and CVE patching.
  • Operate GKE clusters and manage Kubernetes workloads, namespaces, node pools, storage, configuration, and secrets.
  • Support ingress and API gateway infrastructure using ingress-nginx, Envoy Gateway, Kong, the Kubernetes Gateway API, and cert-manager.
  • Manage secrets synchronization with HashiCorp Vault and the Vault Secrets Operator.
  • Configure workload autoscaling with KEDA and Kubernetes-native mechanisms.
  • Monitor cluster and application health with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, exporters, Loki, and Grafana Alloy, and troubleshoot pod, networking, DNS, and storage issues.
  • Support PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, MinIO, and PocketBase workloads running in Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to RBAC, network policies, ClamAV-based scanning, container vulnerability management, backup, disaster recovery, incident response, and compliance documentation.
  • Identify repetitive operational work and automate it with Bash, Python, Go, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, APIs, and Kubernetes-native tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or System Administration.
  • Fresh graduates with strong Kubernetes-focused internships, home labs, or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of Linux administration, Git, Docker, Kubernetes concepts, Helm or Kubernetes YAML, cloud platforms, CI/CD, networking, monitoring, logging, and databases.
  • Intermediate scripting ability in Bash and/or Python or Go.
  • Familiarity with GCP/GKE, preferably including node pools, Workload Identity, Cloud NAT, and VPC networking.
  • Preferred experience includes Argo CD or Flux, Prometheus Operator, kube-prometheus-stack, Loki, Grafana Alloy, Vault, KEDA, cert-manager, Kong, ingress-nginx, OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, Envoy, Kubernetes Gateway API, operators, CRDs, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, and on-premise Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, learning, and automation skills, with interest in AI/LLM platforms, conversational AI, or MLOps.
