Responsibilities
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for builds, tests, and deployments.
- Manage scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure, with future AWS infrastructure, using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Containerize and deploy ML and Node.js services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor and resolve performance, connectivity, memory, and production service issues.
- Design infrastructure architecture covering networks, continuity, disaster recovery, backups, and restore drills.
- Implement cloud security controls including network segmentation, private endpoints, WAF, RBAC, least privilege, and automated secret rotation.
- Build observability with centralized logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and actionable alerting.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource costs and maintain clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and/or Azure.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep for deploying cloud infrastructure.
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps and Docker.
- Proven experience managing Node.js services in production, including containerization, Docker image optimization, and diagnosing performance and memory bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls, and private networking patterns.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Dutch language proficiency is required.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- AWS experience, cybersecurity knowledge, and experience operating data or queue services from an SRE perspective are preferred.
