Responsibilities
- Develop native Android applications and customer-facing features using Kotlin/Java, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and related Android tools.
- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into code modules and maintainable software solutions with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Integrate APIs, services, third-party SDKs, libraries, and content management systems.
- Develop and execute unit tests, UI tests, component integration testing support, and application fixes and triage.
- Support mobile architecture, application deployment, signing assets, build variants, distribution, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Write technical specifications and documentation and collaborate with product, UX, architecture, IT, software consultants, and vendors.
- Help deliver secure, resilient, high-volume, cloud-based and on-premise solutions using Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field.
- At least two years of software development or related experience and two years of Java/Kotlin programming for Android.
- At least two years of experience with native mobile dependency management tools, API/service integration, and third-party source code or libraries.
- At least one year of experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager or an alternative content management tool.
- Experience with native Android development, MVVM, Espresso UI testing, API integration, caching, third-party SDKs, signing assets, build schemes, and Fastlane.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with RTLS, Beacons, Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, Gradle, TDD, Perfecto Mobile, Azure, IBM WebSphere Application Server, mobile CI/CD, application signing and distribution, and HIPAA- and PCI-compliant applications.
- Preferred experience includes at least two years of Android development, API/service integration, and Scrum/Agile practices, plus at least one year with mobile testing, CMS, build, dependency-management, or distribution technologies.
