Responsibilities
- Develop and orchestrate backend services and microservices.
- Build and enhance web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise banking systems.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, clients, and technical teams on digital transformation projects.
- Contribute to mission-critical banking solutions across payments, lending, core banking, customer channels, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, clean coding practices, and current backend development standards.
- Work autonomously in a collaborative team, communicate progress, and support colleagues.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Experience with Oracle Database, schema design, SQL optimization, stored procedures, and PL/SQL.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in banking or financial services, including banking processes and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Cloud, containerization, event-driven architecture, banking integrations, security, DevSecOps, and automated testing experience are advantageous.
