Base Salary
$225k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development and global rollout of the core market data platform across market data, research engineering, pricing, and strategy functions.
- Design and implement high-performance components for market data ingestion, normalization, distribution, order execution, and strategy infrastructure.
- Develop tools and frameworks for quants and technical traders to build, tune, and deploy data-driven systematic pricing and trading strategies.
- Own the full lifecycle of components, including production deployment, monitoring, profiling, and optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers, quants, and technical traders to refine requirements and iterate on platform design and implementation.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of post-graduation professional C++ software development experience.
- Experience building low-latency market data ingestion, order execution, and algorithmic trading systems; proprietary trading experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
- Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable C++ code.
- Interest in maximizing performance through CPU caches, memory layout, networking, and related hardware and software considerations.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

- NYC salary transparency provides a base range of $225,000 to $300,000.
