Base Salary
$106k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead application architecture, design, and technical decision-making for scalable enterprise solutions.
- Design and develop microservices and APIs using Java, Spring technologies, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Design, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and drive containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, and Kinesis.
- Design and optimize Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases.
- Lead production support, incident management, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
- Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12 to 15+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture.
- Extensive AWS cloud development and solution design experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed systems.
- Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, release automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JUnit-based testing, Cucumber/Karate, and Drools Rule Engine.
- Advanced SQL, database design, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, with Linux administration and shell scripting knowledge.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, team leadership, mentoring, strategic thinking, and architecture decision-making skills.
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification, React or Angular experience, large-scale distributed-platform or cloud-modernization experience, and financial services, banking, or payments experience are preferred.
