Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React Native and TypeScript mobile experiences across multiple Kraken products.
- Own initiatives from requirements clarification and stakeholder alignment through implementation, release, and post-launch iteration.
- Build support functionality including in-product messaging, chat experiences, content, banners, modals, and voice-call capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, mobile, web, and backend teams to resolve ambiguity and deliver solutions.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and mobile release processes.
- Develop real-time experiences using APIs and WebSockets and improve shared architecture, components, and development practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including hands-on experience building and shipping React Native mobile applications.
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience owning projects or mobile releases from initial requirements through production delivery.
- Experience with APIs, frontend testing, mobile performance, and modern build and deployment pipelines.
- Strong organizational, written, verbal communication, collaboration, and technical judgment skills.
- Preferred qualifications include native iOS or Android development with Swift or Kotlin, Node.js or backend experience, WebSockets and real-time functionality, customer-support platforms, mobile release processes, Rust, Go, C++, and experience in large or regulated technology organizations.
