Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable solutions using React.js and Node.js.
- Implement micro-frontend architectures and use Module Federation to modularize and integrate large-scale applications.
- Use event-driven architectures and message-queuing systems for asynchronous processes and complex workflows.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and data sources with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and coach software engineers on technical design, coding standards, best practices, and professional development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software-development experience focused on React.js, Node.js or similar frameworks, and API development.
- Proficiency in React.js and Node.js or similar frameworks, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and frontend languages.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Firestore.
- Expertise in event-driven integration patterns and solid understanding of microservices architecture, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with React state-management libraries such as Redux and frontend build tools such as Webpack.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Experience building scalable, distributed systems with cloud-based architectures, preferably GCP.
- Experience with Material UI or Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of software-engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and independent-working skills.
