Responsibilities
- Perform manual accessibility testing on web and/or mobile applications.
- Test compliance with WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 at levels A and AA.
- Use screen readers and other assistive technologies to evaluate accessibility.
- Check keyboard navigation, color contrast, font size, touch areas, alternative text, captions, and transcripts.
- Document defects and provide evidence and suggestions for correction.
- Communicate accessibility findings clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 guidelines at levels A and AA.
- Experience with manual accessibility testing for web and/or mobile applications.
- Familiarity with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, or TalkBack.
- Knowledge of keyboard navigation and non-mouse usage.
- Experience with WCAG compliance testing and assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and voice software.
- Strong attention to detail, empathy, user focus, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, clear communication, and collaborative working ability.
