Responsibilities
- Test and troubleshoot software and firmware for Futurex applications and cryptographic devices, then report conclusions clearly.
- Develop tests for new features, issue resolution, stress testing, and identification of security weaknesses.
- Consult with team members to develop, understand, and update product feature requirements.
- Write and maintain testing documentation covering API functionality and software issue creation and resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of processed, stored, or accessed information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field; Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, System Analysis and Development, or Electronics & Computer Technology is preferred.
- Comfort with Linux and Bash, including SysV and systemd.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- English language proficiency.
- Familiarity with automated and manual software testing tools and frameworks is strongly preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, preferably version 3, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Git or Subversion is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure or another cryptographic concept is strongly preferred.
