Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test cycles across multiple releases.
- Perform manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Track, prioritize, and manage defects through their lifecycle, including defect triage and root cause analysis.
- Review business and technical requirements for completeness, clarity, and testability.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders on quality objectives.
- Monitor testing progress and quality metrics.
- Support test automation, improve automation coverage, and maintain automated test suites.
- Use AI to support test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, root cause investigation, reporting, documentation, and productivity improvements.
- Contribute to quality engineering, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering, including strong manual testing and test execution experience.
- Experience creating and managing test plans, test cases, and test cycles.
- Experience with defect management, root cause analysis, and defect triage.
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of regression testing methodologies and quality analysis.
- Basic understanding of software architecture and development processes.
- Knowledge of Git version control and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Basic coding knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI solutions.
- Playwright automation framework experience is preferred.
- TypeScript or JavaScript, BDD, API testing with Postman or Swagger, SQL, data validation, automated test suite maintenance, cloud-based applications, and DevOps practices are preferred.
