Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose bugs, and ensure system quality before production releases.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration.
- Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments.
- Participate in issue troubleshooting and triage with multiple teams to identify and resolve root causes.
- Collaborate with software developers to create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
- Work across functional areas with internal engineering partner teams.
- Estimate testing tasks and work productively with minimal supervision.
- Influence the engineering organization to adopt unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building automation frameworks for mobile or web applications, particularly social media or related applications.
- High proficiency in testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation procedures, and QA best practices.
- Ability to independently develop test plans from requirements and conduct ad hoc and exploratory testing.
- Comfort working with iOS and Android testing environments.
- Experience testing Agile/Scrum SDLCs and using Jira and Confluence to manage the lifecycle.
- Strong communication, creative problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- At least 3 years of experience testing applications across iOS, Android, web, and mobile web is desirable.
- Experience with API testing is desirable.
- Scripting skills are desirable.
