Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test cases from user stories and system workflows.
- Generate test data, execute manual and automated tests, validate behavior, and document results.
- Communicate defects clearly and collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to resolve them.
- Automate regression, security, and performance testing.
- Develop test code, automation frameworks, and reusable test libraries.
- Monitor and test cloud-native distributed applications spanning UI, backend, ETL pipelines, and search or indexing systems.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software testing experience involving manual or automated testing of web or backend systems.
- Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases and documenting defects.
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and containerized environments, including GitLab CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Top Secret clearance is required.
- A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical or program management experience, a master’s degree and 5+ years of such experience, or 12+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience building automated test frameworks or reusable test libraries.
- Preferred experience testing cloud-based or IL-level environments, ETL pipelines, ingestion workflows, search or indexing systems, UI applications, or data-pipeline technologies.
- Preferred experience with RMF, government environments, or large test-plan maintenance.
