Responsibilities
- Build a governed GCP foundation covering projects, environments, IAM, service accounts, secrets, logging, monitoring, alerting, budgets, and cost controls.
- Migrate production workloads, including the AI-agent runtime, from legacy self-managed hosting and single-machine dependencies to GCP.
- Own cloud security, access governance, secrets handling, audit logging, network posture, backup and disaster recovery, and incident-response processes.
- Build the software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD, environment strategy, branching and releases, automated testing integration, and AI-assisted code review.
- Operate the AI platform infrastructure, including the containerized agent runtime, agent memory service, Docker, PostgreSQL, GCP, and a future model gateway.
- Support access, cost, and monitoring operations for the BigQuery data warehouse.
- Document infrastructure with infrastructure as code and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience with production systems built and operated directly.
- Deep GCP experience with IAM, access governance, Cloud Run or equivalent container platforms, Secret Manager, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and cost management.
- AWS experience and fluency working across more than one cloud.
- Strong cloud-security experience with least-privilege design, secrets and key management, audit logging, network security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, environment strategies, and release processes from scratch.
- Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling and solid Linux administration.
- Fluency in Python and/or Bash, plus experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Working proficiency in English.
- Armenian language knowledge, LLM or AI platform experience, e-commerce or Shopify experience, n8n, and Looker are bonuses.
