Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality scalable software solutions using enterprise programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with Equity Derivatives Trading, Structuring, Sales, Market Risk, product, design, and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Build next-generation platforms and support the effective retirement of legacy solutions.
- Develop software that enables rapid response to evolving business requirements and directly impacts P&L.
- Troubleshoot large distributed enterprise systems and optimize code for performance and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, documentation, and technology communities.
- Apply secure coding practices and effective unit testing to protect data and improve software reliability.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
Requirements
- Considerable enterprise-level development experience with at least one of C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Ample Python development experience.
- Experience with Excel VBA and interfacing with DLLs.
- Ample experience with SQL DDL and DML.
- Ability to troubleshoot large distributed enterprise systems.
- Front-end development experience with desktop or web-based applications is highly valued.
- Strong accountability, documentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
