Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for training, deploying, and managing Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
Develop and verify prototypes for optimization and control problems with business impact.
Identify, develop, and deliver AI copilots and workflows that support engineers.
Apply software engineering practices including configuration management, static analysis, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, and release management.
Integrate AI/ML solutions into products, tools, and processes where necessary.
Design data-fabric and pipeline architectures for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and automation applications.
Collaborate with global researchers and engineers to solve real-world HVDC and energy-sector challenges.
Share knowledge and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Master’s degree or equivalent industrial experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Programming experience in C#, Python, and related libraries and technology stacks.
Software engineering expertise across design, implementation, testing, code quality, CI/CD, and release management.
Ability to conduct all phases of a software project, including conceptual work, design, prototyping, and verification.
Experience with structured and unstructured databases, including SQL, Postgres, TimescaleDB, and NoSQL.
Experience architecting performant, scalable, and extensible software solutions.
Experience using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services to design and deploy AI solutions.
Good knowledge of Generative AI, underlying models and architectures, and associated technologies.
Hands-on experience applying Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI—including copilots and prompt engineering—to practical problems.
Knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property handling, and security for AI tools and data.
Willingness to work across disciplines and integrate AI/ML approaches into business processes.
Demonstrated teamwork, creativity, motivation for self-development, and excellent written and spoken English communication.
