Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications, agent-based systems, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Build and deploy AI/ML solutions using Azure services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Azure ML, and Cognitive Services.
- Develop data processing and machine learning workflows with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Build LLM-based solutions using prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and model evaluation.
- Optimize AI model performance, scalability, and production cost-efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for AI systems.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions.
- Apply secure development practices using Key Vault, managed identities, and RBAC.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
- Strong foundations in machine learning and deep learning.
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, plus understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector search, and transformer-based models.
- Exposure to agentic AI concepts and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Transformers.
- Ability to troubleshoot data and ML pipeline issues and follow software engineering practices such as clean code, version control, and code reviews.
- Exposure to unit and integration testing for AI systems.
- Preferred: experience with MLflow or Azure ML pipelines, knowledge of microservices architecture, familiarity with Application Insights or Log Analytics, and an Azure AI Engineer Associate certification.
