Base Salary

$78k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and secure container platforms and container management software.
  • Build container images and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes and Rancher or EKS.
  • Manage Helm-deployed tools with ArgoCD or Flux and write custom Helm charts.
  • Automate server and network configuration, software deployments, monitoring, and testing in infrastructure-as-code environments.
  • Support custom applications in production and contribute to critical cloud platform development.
  • Recommend resources and advise clients on secure container adoption, platform strategy, and design.
  • Monitor container networking, storage, security, and vulnerability findings.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in an AWS cloud environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience with containerization, image building, and Kubernetes orchestration using Rancher or EKS.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Helm, ArgoCD or Flux, custom Helm charts, and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Terragrunt.
  • Experience developing and supporting custom applications in production.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments and automated server or network configuration, large-scale deployments, monitoring, or testing.
  • Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage, and security technologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and eligibility for classified information access.
  • Bachelor's degree and DoD 8570 Level II Certification.
  • Preferred experience includes Java or Python development; Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Fluentd; AWS or Azure cloud environments; Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity; JSON, REST, or XML integration; Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby scripting; Docker, VMware, Linux, or UNIX administration; and Kubernetes Certification.
