Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and secure container platforms and container management software for client environments.
- Design, deploy, and support cloud platforms and production applications.
- Build container images and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes and Rancher or EKS.
- Manage Helm-based tools with ArgoCD or Flux and create custom Helm charts.
- Automate server and network configurations, software deployments, monitoring, and testing using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Advise clients on secure container adoption and recommend resources and platform improvements.
- Support team strategy and design while ensuring containerization standards are met.
- Evaluate, mitigate, and resolve container security vulnerability findings.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in an AWS cloud environment.
- 5+ years of experience with containerization, image building, and deployment orchestration using Kubernetes and Rancher or EKS.
- 4+ years of experience managing Helm tools with ArgoCD or Flux and using Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience developing and supporting custom applications in production.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments and automated server or network configuration, large-scale software deployments, monitoring, and testing.
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage, and security technologies.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- DoD 8570 Level II Certification is required.
- Preferred experience includes Java or Python development; Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or FluentD; AWS or Azure cloud environments; Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity; system integration protocols such as JSON, REST, and XML; Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby scripting; Docker, VMware, Linux, or UNIX administration; and Kubernetes Certification.
