Base Salary
$125k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, upgrade, operate, maintain, and scale mission-critical products and services.
- Manage infrastructure as code and utilize observability tools for application health.
- Collaborate with software engineers to design operable and maintainable systems.
- Engage in the software development lifecycle from design to continuous refinement.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Provide high-quality support to vehicle software engineers.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering; OR 3+ years of SRE or DevOps experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Python and Python-based frameworks.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Preferred experience with build systems and container technologies.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks.
- Ability to work with mission-critical systems with urgency and care.
- Effective communication skills with customers and peers.
