Base Salary

$125k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Manage GPU and CPU infrastructure deployments to Top Secret data centers.
  • Provide GPU-as-a-service support for external customers on bare-metal and virtualized platforms.
  • Design, validate, and productize AI cluster solutions at 100,000+ GPU scale.
  • Automate deployment and management of on-premise Kubernetes/AI clusters and operating systems.
  • Deploy and manage databases, monitoring systems, and distributed storage.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to create scalable, operable, and maintainable products.
  • Improve services throughout their lifecycle from design and deployment through operation and refinement.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting systems and identify improvements that increase system availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/IT, or engineering plus 1+ year of professional experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps, or 3+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure tools; containerization technologies such as OCI containers and Kubernetes; and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Development experience in Python, C++, or Go.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python-based development frameworks, managing Kubernetes clusters, Linux boot and configuration, testing and continuous integration/build/deployment/monitoring practices, Bazel or Makefiles, performance optimization, distributed databases and data modeling, large-scale server management, TCP/IP networking, cloud virtualization, NVIDIA GPU deployment stacks, and an active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance and be willing to work extended hours and weekends and travel domestically and globally as needed.
  • Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $125,000.00-$160,000.00 for Level 1 and $145,000.00-$195,000.00 for Level 2.
  • Eligible employees may receive long-term incentives, discretionary bonuses, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, medical/vision/dental coverage, a 401(k), disability and life insurance, paid parental leave, discounts, three weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
  • Employees with an active clearance may receive a 10% differential up to an additional $20,000 annually after being briefed into a classified program.
  • The role may require extended hours, weekends, and future domestic or global travel.
