Base Salary
$125k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a highly reliable, distributed telemetry platform.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
- Take full end-to-end ownership of the complete software and hardware stack.
- Deep dive into business problems and apply first principles thinking to find efficient solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or a related field, or 2+ years of professional software experience.
- 1+ years of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
- Programming experience in C#, Java, or similar languages is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems for processing and querying high-volume data is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Linux, version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
