Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build mid-to-large-scale Java applications using Spring Boot and scalable service-oriented architecture.
- Diagnose complex application performance issues, coding defects, and architectural flaws, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Own the software development lifecycle from scoping and technical planning through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Define engineering standards for coding, testing, and debugging and align application design with system architecture and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery, manage inter-team dependencies and third-party technology vendors, and improve development throughput.
- Build consensus among engineering teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership around technical decisions and delivery outcomes.
- Mentor and coach engineers and share technical expertise through engineering forums and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in software product development or a technical environment, including experience in a technical lead or project management role.
- Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and production-grade application development.
- Experience managing the complete software development lifecycle from requirements and design through release and operational support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile or hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience managing third-party technology vendors, including implementation planning and partnership evaluation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with React or Angular is beneficial.
- PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent project management certification is beneficial.
- Experience with large-scale process improvement, engineering culture change, infrastructure programs, or complex multi-team software delivery is beneficial.
