Base Salary
$109k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications for Fiserv’s business goals.
- Build backend services and APIs in Golang for the Finxact Core as a Service platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, partners, and system users to gather requirements and implement application solutions.
- Code, test, debug, and improve application performance, reliability, test coverage, and overall system quality.
- Maintain existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers, lead other developers, and provide technical guidance on solution design and programming best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Golang, Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
- At least 3 years of experience with RESTful services, Swagger, JSON data interchange, and Git.
- At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- At least 6 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience includes payments software involving ACH, Fedwire, RTP, cards, ISO 20022, or ISO 8583; familiarity with Golang; AI-driven development practices; and microservices development strategies.
