Base Salary
$110k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support software applications for the Vision NEXT platform.
- Develop and support REST and event-driven integrations using RabbitMQ and webhooks with retry and idempotency patterns.
- Build and maintain API test automation using RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.
- Troubleshoot application, connectivity, integration, performance, and production support issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to maintain platform stability, performance, and reliability.
- Support AWS-hosted cloud-native applications, monitor system performance, and assist with root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and support client implementations for LATAM partners.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in software development, software engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Java experience.
- Hands-on experience with REST and event-driven integrations, RabbitMQ, webhooks, and retry/idempotency design patterns.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed application architectures, and enterprise troubleshooting.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience in financial services, payments, banking, fintech, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, networking, monitoring, and observability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
