Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications supporting Clover’s business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Code, test, debug, maintain, and improve backend applications and existing codebases.
- Lead peer review processes and mentor junior developers with technical guidance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot backend incidents, resolve API and microservice degradation, and maintain high availability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of deep Java development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL databases.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- At least 5 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working with AI platforms.
- Experience in the payments domain or eCommerce solutions is preferred.
