Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build self-service tooling and automated evaluation frameworks using LLM simulators and judges to monitor performance, improve quality, and prevent regressions.
- Architect scalable APIs for catalog ingestion, real-time agent configuration, and one-line SDK site integration.
- Design infrastructure that enables rapid global customer onboarding, including for enterprise and Shopify merchants.
- Drive features from experimentation through production while maintaining reliability across complex shopping journeys involving search, sales, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of software development experience with C++ or Python.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and one year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Three years of experience with Large Language Models and evaluation frameworks.
- Three years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- Preferred: experience building and scaling platform infrastructure for SaaS or e-commerce products.
- Preferred: ability to work in an agile 0-to-1 environment and drive projects from conception to launch.
- Preferred: strong product sense focused on developer experience and merchant tooling.
Benefits
- US base pay is $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
