Responsibilities
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze applications and code to identify enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Design, install, support, test, debug, and troubleshoot applications.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited supervision.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, risk, and control issues appropriately.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications-development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
