Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Enhance and operate a large-scale Kubernetes infrastructure platform for availability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop internal tooling and automation to reduce manual work and streamline platform delivery.
- Manage Day 1 and Day 2 operations and lifecycle management for Kubernetes clusters.
- Operate production environments, monitor platform stability, and lead high-severity incident responses.
- Drive evolution of New Relic’s internal cloud-native platform in collaboration with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering managing production environments.
- Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes primitives including Deployments, StatefulSets, and Services.
- Hands-on experience building custom Kubernetes Operators.
- Strong proficiency in Go for systems programming and infrastructure automation.
- Proven experience with production stability, monitoring, and resolving high-severity incidents.
- Preferred experience with Karpenter or Cluster API for cloud-native autoscaling.
- Preferred familiarity with Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
