Responsibilities
- Strengthen the frontend foundations for Mercury engineers.
- Evolve React, TypeScript, and Vite infrastructure for efficient product shipping.
- Implement automation tools to help engineers resolve issues quickly.
- Optimize testing platforms for fast feedback and high confidence.
- Ensure stable, ergonomic, and fast CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive observability by unifying technical and sentiment metrics.
- Foster enthusiasm for frontend work and represent it in larger venues.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of software development experience with a focus on frontend.
- Deep experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience leading complex engineering projects across multiple teams.
- Confident communicator adept at cross-organizational discussions.
- Experience maintaining internal libraries or platform tooling.
- Thorough understanding of modern frontend developer tooling and workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues in web platform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Balance practicality with ambitious goals.
