Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy production-grade cloud infrastructure using AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads with Kubernetes, including EKS or AKS, with attention to security, reliability, and resource efficiency.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions deployment pipelines, including cloud-hosted and self-hosted runners.
- Implement infrastructure standards that provide secure logging, metrics, and tracing by default.
- Build internal CLI tools, AI-assisted workflows, and automation scripts to improve developer workflows.
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Support teams on technical projects.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain operational playbooks and failure-triage guides, and help onboard team members.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.
- Working knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi, including modules and state management.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting production workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of logging, metrics, and tracing, with hands-on experience integrating Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ability to own end-to-end tasks and break broader technical goals into actionable solutions with guidance from technical leads.
