Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation for new and existing cloud infrastructure.
- Build new platform components from initial design through deployment.
- Provide operational support through on-call rotations and incident management.
- Automate operational tasks and reduce toil using software development skills.
- Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Contribute to technical architecture design and infrastructure decisions.
- Maintain and continuously improve systems while supporting audits and compliance.
- Work closely with software engineers and data scientists.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Golang.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
- Experience with relational databases and other datastores, particularly high availability and performance optimization.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with Terraform automation tools such as Terragrunt or Atlantis is advantageous.
- Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes or GKE is advantageous.
- Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.
