Responsibilities
- Maintain the health and availability of the trading ecosystem.
- Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
- Contribute to automation and monitoring solutions to reduce manual configuration and improve uptime.
- Liaise with financial exchanges, clearing firms, and other external trading partners to resolve technical issues.
- Onboard new trading desks, trading systems, and technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and exchanges.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience using Python and Bash for automation.
- Ability to write complex SQL database queries and updates.
- Basic networking knowledge including multicast, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common network troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
