Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and lead development of new ventures and products from idea through MVP.
- Partner with cross-functional venture teams to turn ambiguous ideas into products within six months and validate decisions commercially.
- Apply an AI-first lens to product and technical strategy, including identifying AI-native workflows and testing technical hypotheses.
- Design, build, and maintain shared internal AI tooling and applied AI infrastructure.
- Create reusable architecture patterns, evaluation frameworks, prompting and agent-design guidelines, and vendor assessments.
- Rapidly prototype and evaluate AI capabilities and tools for portfolio-wide adoption.
- Provide technical mentorship and 1:1 advisory support to Accelerator founders and their tech leads.
- Mentor members of the internal technical team and consolidate learnings into repeatable startup-building practices.
Requirements
- Proven ability to deliver products in a fast-paced technology startup environment.
- Recent experience building with modern AI tooling, including generative AI and agentic systems.
- Experience developing and executing AI strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Strong product and customer mentality, balancing speed with scalability.
- Ability to alternate between hands-on technical execution and strategic advice.
- Experience evaluating and integrating third-party AI tools and vendors and making build-versus-buy decisions.
- Ability to work across geographies, time zones, and multifunctional teams.
- Previous experience as a technical founder of an early-stage startup is preferred.
- Ability to coach and mentor others on technical topics and operate effectively amid uncertainty and change.
