Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across business units to prototype, integrate, and productionize Cisco Secure Connect features and end-to-end solutions.
  • Design scalable and extensible systems while solving complex architecture problems.
  • Own projects from conception through production release and coordinate effectively across teams.
  • Work with Product Managers, UX designers, and front-end engineers to develop simplified customer workflows.
  • Build complex automation frameworks using Python or other scripting languages.
  • Develop UI automation and perform end-to-end, scale-level, and manual testing.
  • Add tests, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure system quality.
  • Debug and support cloud-based systems and automation solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, ELK, Grafana, Terraform, Git, and AWS services including RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in networking.
  • Experience writing complex automation frameworks with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with UI automation using Selenium or Robot Framework.
  • Experience testing and automating end-to-end solutions at scale, using Python or another available framework.
  • Experience with both automation and manual testing.
  • Experience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
  • Good debugging skills.
  • Preferred experience or willingness to work in a Scrum environment, contributions to open-source projects, Cypress, continuous integration systems, and Docker or other container technologies.
