Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software features for Annapurna Labs’ next-generation networking hardware.
  • Enable high network bandwidth, packet-per-second performance, and consistently low latency.
  • Contribute to architecture definitions and software system designs.
  • Bring up a broad selection of AWS EC2 instance types optimized for different customer use cases.
  • Resolve complex customer issues, monitor AWS cloud health, maintain quality standards, and develop highly optimized code.
  • Complete onboarding training in embedded systems basics, Annapurna technologies in EC2, cloud compute development, and networking fundamentals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the C programming language.
  • Preferred: experience in embedded software development.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience developing in a Linux environment.
  • Preferred: experience with hardware/software interfaces at the board and chip level.
  • Preferred: understanding of computer architecture.
