Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug firmware components for machine learning accelerator servers.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and root-cause issues on real hardware in the lab.
- Build tools and automation to improve the team’s development and validation flow.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and platform engineers across the group.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least three full semesters remaining until graduation.
- Be available to work part-time for at least two to three days per week alongside studies.
- Preferred qualifications include C/C++ programming and experience with Linux, embedded systems, firmware, or low-level programming.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to hardware debugging, I2C, PCIe, SPI, or device drivers.
- Preferred qualifications include using LLMs or code-generation agents as part of a daily development workflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, teamwork, motivation, passion for software development, and ability to learn quickly are preferred.
