Base Salary

$120k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Determine user requirements and contribute to feature designs with limited oversight.
  • Develop and implement code for Azure Storage products, services, and features.
  • Break down larger work items, estimate tasks, and identify dependencies.
  • Install, maintain, and automate Azure Storage repositories and pipelines.
  • Create and improve test automation and investigate networking and deployment configuration issues.
  • Serve as an on-call Designated Responsible Individual and monitor, troubleshoot, and restore services.
  • Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Coding experience in C#, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security screening requirements.
  • Preferred: master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience with inner development loops, build systems, compilers, pipeline troubleshooting, deployments, MSVC, MSBuild, and DevOps pipelines.

Benefits

  • Base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year across the U.S.; location-specific ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
  • The position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
