Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy high-speed network technologies supporting AI/LLM applications.
- Develop platforms and systems for monitoring, analysis, and diagnosis of large-scale AI/LLM networks.
- Research high-performance AI communication frameworks, network protocol stacks, and host-network-application co-design optimizations.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI/LLM networks.
- Track advances in academia and industry, identify innovative system components, and present research in academic papers.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in computer networking or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with computer networks and network programming, mainstream programming languages, high-speed network systems, or AI network diagnosis and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in one or more mainstream programming languages, including C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with high-speed networking technologies and concepts including RDMA, congestion control, and AI network optimization.
- Experience developing high-performance communication frameworks such as NCCL, MPI, or RPC libraries is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI training and inference systems and software-hardware co-design is preferred.
- Top-tier networking conference publications, such as NSDI, SIGCOMM, OSDI, or SOSP, are preferred.
